On Monday, September 8, 2008 the players, caddies and dignitaries involved in the Fightmaster Cup Challenge were treated to an evening of grand dining. Host Chef, John Castro along with the company of 6 James Beard chefs prepared a 7 course dinner that made a tremendous impression for all attendees. Joining Castro were chefs Peng Loii (Asiatique), Shawn Ward (Jack Fry’s), Daniel Stage (Le Relais), Jim Gerhard (Limestone), Anoosh Sharriat, and Anthony Lamas (Seviche). Each course was paired with a wine that was generously donated by Cosentino Winery and Hendry Winery. The dinner took place at Winston’s Restaurant on the campus of Sullivan University.

Attending the event was Mayor Jerry Abramson who spoke to the guest and unveiled the Fightmaster Cup. The Cup is named in honor of Don Fightmaster who is the inspiration for many amputees and those who have lost limbs to accident, injury or war.

Players and attendees, please share your experience at the event.
